Al Capone, also known as "Scarface," was a notorious American gangster who rose to power during the Prohibition era in the early 20th century. In 1931, he was finally convicted of tax evasion and sentenced to 11 years in prison, mainly served at Alcatraz. After his release in 1939, his health deteriorated due to syphilis, and he died in 1947.
