Martin Van Buren Bobblehead
Martin Van Buren (1782–1862) was the 8th president of the United States (1837–1841) and a key architect of the Democratic Party. A skilled politician and strategist, he previously served as vice president under Andrew Jackson and was instrumental in shaping Jacksonian democracy. Van Buren’s presidency was overshadowed by the Panic of 1837, a severe economic crisis that led to widespread unemployment and bank failures, diminishing his popularity. Despite his advocacy for limited government and opposition to the expansion of slavery, he lost re-election in 1840. Later, he ran unsuccessfully as the Free Soil Party’s candidate in 1848, opposing the spread of slavery into new territories.

Martin joined my Presidential collection. Perhaps you recall that Martin's first language was Dutch. Additionally, Martin was the FIRST President to be born in the USA. His autobiography never mentioned his wife of 12 years.
MARTIN VAN BUREN has been added to my collection of Presidents. I am now waiting for Franklin Pierce and Warren Harding. After they arrive I will only need to get Chester Arthur and Benjamin Harrison to have all 45 presidents
All the presidential series bobble heads are amazing. If my count is correct, we just need Franklin Pierce, Chester A. Arthur, Benjamin Harrison, and Warren G. Harding to complete all the presidents!
